Voyager Technologies (VOYG) Chief Executive Dylan Taylor expressed confidence that the company's Starlab joint venture will be chosen by NASA to replace the International Space Station, which is expected to be decommissioned in 2030, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

"We're quite certain that our solution is not only technically the best solution, but that we have assembled the best team," Taylor said Wednesday in an interview with Bloomberg Television.

Starlab is a Voyager Technologies-led joint venture with partners including Airbus, Mitsubishi, and Palantir Technologies (PLTR).

Voyager Technologies didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares of the company were up more than 6% pre-bell Thursday.
