A member's committee assignment is putting increased attention on some recent trades.\n     • Ducommun stock is trading near recent highs. Where are DCO shares going?\nRep. Gil Cisneros (D-Calif.) recently disclosed buying shares of multiple stocks, as reported by the Benzinga Government Trades page.\nAmong the stocks bought were two small defense stocks.\nDucommun has a market capitalization of $2.3 billion and StandardAero has a market capitalization of $8.3 billion, making these on the smaller side of stocks bought by members of Congress.\nAlong with the size of the stocks drawing attention, Cisneros being on the House Armed Services Committee is also drawing attention.\n\"Keep an eye on this one. Rep. Gilbert Cisneros (D) just disclosed two defense stock purchases,\" the Pelosi Tracker on X tweeted. \"Here's where it gets interesting. He sits on the Armed Services Intelligence & Special Operations Subcommittee.\"\nThe account said StandardAero has deals with the U.S. Special Operations Command, while Ducommun builds missiles and weapons components for the U.S. Special Operations.\n\"His subcommittee controls their budget,\" the Pelosi Tracker said of both companies.\nThis marked the first purchase of Ducommun for Cisenors.
