Nvidia CEO Declines Senate Testimony Amid Export Control Debate

MT Newswires Live07:31

Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang declined an invitation from Sen. Elizabeth Warren to testify before the Senate Banking Committee this week, CNBC reported Monday.

The hearing will focus on US AI development, affordability, and technological dominance, the report said, adding that Warren had asked Huang to address Nvidia's China business and US export controls.

Huang said he was "unable to attend" but invited lawmakers to visit Nvidia's headquarters in California, the report added.

Warren criticized the decision, saying the public deserves answers, and noted Huang's willingness to attend high-profile events abroad, CNBC said.
