Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE) resumed a follow-up drill program at the Big Lake uranium project in South Australia, following a hiatus caused by persistent rain after initial discovery in 2024, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said the Big Lake project encompasses the northern extensions of the proven uranium-bearing sedimentary system that hosts the Beverley, Four Mile, and Honeymoon in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium operations in South Australia.

The company's shares fell 6% in recent Thursday trade.
