1129 ET - The broader furniture category remains pressured and highly promotional, Lovesac CEO Shawn Nelson says on a call with analysts. Within this landscape, customers are gravitating toward differentiated brands with disciplined execution and structurally advantaged product platforms, he says: "That is exactly what Lovesac has spent years architecting and operationalizing." The company is benefiting from its pivot to a multi-platform and multi-room lifestyle brand, from a product-driven company, Nelson says. He adds the company will lean further into this ethos, enhancing its living room options this year before expanding into a new room of the home in 2027. Lovesac sinks 10% after tempering its outlook for the year as it widened its loss during the recent quarter. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
