Posco Holdings (KRX:005490) disclosed a serious industrial accident at its Shinansan Line l, which left one worker dead, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The worker fell from a height during electrical work preparation in a vertical shaft on Tuesday. The cause of the fall hasn't been identified yet, the filing said.
Police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor are investigating the incident, and accident prevention measures are being written to prevent a recurrence, it said.
