Service Corp. Board Adds to Share Repurchase Authorization

Funerary services provider Service Corp. International said its board has increased the share repurchase authorization, adding about $472 million.

The addition brings the current share repurchase authorization to $600 million, Service Corp. added.

The company has a market capitalization of $10.2 billion, 138.15 million shares outstanding, and a public float of 135.16 million shares.

Service Corp. shares finished Thursday's regular session basically flat on the day at $73.72.
