0151 GMT - SK Telecom's artificial-intelligence data-center business could get an additional boost from its partnership with Nvidia, KB Securities' Kim Joon-sop says. The analyst expects the South Korean mobile operator's gigawatt-scale AI factory partnership with Nvidia to evolve into a graphics-processing-unit-as-a-service business generating 20 trillion won in revenue and four trillion won in operating profit. SK Telecom has operated a "GPUaaS" business since 2024, allowing customers to rent high-performance GPUs over the internet, KB says. The company plans to expand its AI data-center capacity in South Korea to more than 200 megawatts by 2029 from 40 megawatts in 2H 2027, KB adds. (kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
