1110 GMT - The Bank of England could increase interest rates by a quarter-point in July to prevent the risks of second-order inflation effects, Nomura research analysts say in a note. Nonetheless, the BOE is likely to resume interest rate cuts in 2027 as inflation risks fade, they say. Investors price in a 34% chance of a BOE rate increase in July, LSEG data show.
