Uranium Energy's (UEC) fiscal Q3 net loss per share surprisingly widened from a year ago.

Shares dropped 17%, with intraday trading volume rising to more than 21.4 million from the stock's daily average of over 9.33 million.

Perma-Pipe International (PPIH) shares dropped amid heavy trading after the company's chief executive officer, Saleh Sagr, said geopolitical developments in the Middle East delayed the execution of certain projects during fiscal Q1, affecting the timing of revenue recognition and profitability in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Shares slumped 17% as intraday trading volume jumped to more than 597,000 from a daily average of over 85,000.

Nexera Technologies' (NEXR) majority-owned subsidiary Fort Technology's (FRTT) shares declined 29% Tuesday, a day after commencing trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market.

More than 62,000 shares of the company traded intraday.
