Walt Disney (DIS) plans to expand Disneyland in Shanghai, China, Nikkei Asia reported Tuesday, citing Chief Executive Josh D'Amaro.
Disneyland Shanghai recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and D'Amaro said the location is "part of a new era of global expansion" for the company, according to the report.
No other details were disclosed.
The park's third hotel is set to open this winter, while speculation over a potential second park near the existing one is growing, the report said.
Walt Disney did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
