Polyrizon (PLRZ) has entered into agreements with a European university medical center and a clinical research organization to conduct a human study for its Nasarix allergy blocker, the company said Monday.
The study will evaluate the nasal residence time of Nasarix, measuring how long the formulation remains in the nasal cavity after administration, Polyrizon said.
The company said it has engaged the clinical research organization to manage study operations and regulatory submissions.
Nasarix is an investigational intranasal hydrogel formulation designed to create a physical barrier in the nasal cavity to reduce allergen exposure, Polyrizon said.
Shares of Polyrizon were 6.5% higher in Monday premarket activity.
