Ballard Power Systems (BLDP) secured an order from an unidentified renewable off-grid power generation company of 15 megawatts of fuel cell systems for stationary applications, it said late Monday.
The order is comprised of 150 of Ballard's FCmove-HD plus 100 kilowatt fuel cell modules and will be used in hydrogen gensets for applications ranging from live events, construction and movie sets to critical infrastructure. The customer placed an order of a similar scale in 2024, according to the company.
Deliveries of the order are expected to start in H2.
