Some users reported issues with Robinhood's platform in the half hour or so after shares of SpaceX started trading.
Reports of problems with the app started climbing around 11:40 a.m. in New York and were still rising around noon, according to the website DownDetector. Shortly after noon, they started to drop off.
The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Given the interest in SpaceX, brokerages had been expecting an overwhelming wave of demand for the stock.
