Caprice Resources Says Western Australia Deposit Metallurgical Testing Confirms Amenability to Gravity, Carbon-in-Leach Processing

MT Newswires Live13:06

Caprice Resources (ASX:CRS) said results of initial metallurgical testing undertaken on the Vadrians deposit at its Island gold project in Western Australia confirmed the gold mineralization is highly amenable to conventional gravity and carbon-in-leach processing, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

A representative high-grade fresh mineralization composite sample returned overall gold recoveries of 94% at a normal grind size with rapid leach kinetics and moderate reagent consumption, with recoveries of 92% still present at a coarser grind.

Gravity gold recoveries exceeding 33% support the future potential for a simple, low-cost processing route.
