Datang International Power Raises 2 Billion Yuan for Working Capital, Debt Repayment

Datang International Power Generation (HKG:0991, SHA:601991) issued 2 billion yuan worth of super short-term financing bonds, the sixth tranche of such debt issued by the company this year, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.

The notes carry a coupon rate of 1.35% and mature in 120 days.

China Minsheng Banking (SHA:600016, HKG:1988) is the lead underwriter and bookrunner of the issuance.

The proceeds will be used to supplement the company's working capital and repay debt.

The power company's Hong Kong shares fell 2% during the midday trade.
