Fosun Pharma Unit's Luvometinib Gets China Nod for Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis Drug Indication

Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (SHA:600196, HKG:2196) said the drug registration application for an additional indication of Luvometinib Tablets was approved by China's National Medical Products Administration, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the pharmaceutical company were down nearly 2% in Tuesday afternoon trading.

The approved indication is for the treatment of pediatric patients aged two years and older with relapsed or refractory Langerhans cell histiocytosis.

The drug was developed by Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Industrial Development, a unit of Fosun Pharmaceutical.
