Invivyd (IVVD) said Tuesday that enrollment has been completed for its late-stage clinical trial of the company's investigational VYD2311, which is being developed as an alternative to COVID-19 vaccines.
The biopharmaceutical company said the trial is comparing the safety and tolerability of VYD2311 with an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. The trial is also evaluating the safety and immune response when both are given together, the company said.
The primary endpoint of the trial is to assess the side effects and tolerability of COVID antibody, compared with vaccine through day six, for a total of seven days. Invivyd said it expects to report initial results from the study in Q3.
Shares of the company were up more than 1% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
