SuperCom Signs, Launches Swedish Prison Monitoring Contract; Shares Up Pre-Bell

SuperCom (SPCB) said Tuesday it has signed and launched a contract with Sweden's Prison and Probation Services to serve as its national electronic monitoring provider.

SuperCom said the project's total value is estimated to range from $17 million to $75 million.

Under the contract, SuperCom said the program could expand to up to 6,000 active offenders, a roughly 6x increase in scale compared to its previous contract signed in 2019.

The company said it will deploy its PureSecurity Electronic Monitoring Suite across a broad range of public safety programs, including GPS tracking of offenders, home detention monitoring, and indoor facility monitoring.

Shares of the company were up 10.2% in Tuesday's trading.
