Dow Jones16:39

0838 GMT - Shares in U.K. housebuilders fall after the U.S. Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged. The Fed signaled it is worried about inflation with price stability emerging as the winning force, with and officials inclined to hike interest rates this year, Swissquote analyst Ipek Ozkardeskaya says in a note. "The bad news is that the latest ECB and Fed decisions showed that policymakers do not necessarily rely on the idea that lower oil prices will immediately cool inflationary pressures," Ozkardeskaya says. Persimmon is down 6.1%, with Crest Nicholson down 2.2%, Barratt Redrow down 1.8% and Berkeley down 1.6%. (anthony.orunagoriainoff@dowjones.com)
