Oklo (OKLO) and Centrus Energy (LEU) have signed a letter of intent covering the supply of low-enriched uranium, the companies said Thursday.
Under the deal, Centrus will supply high-assay low-enriched uranium from its American Centrifuge plant in Pike County, Ohio, to support Oklo's planned 1.2-gigawatt campus.
Centrus will supply enough domestic high-assay uranium to power up to five Aurora powerhouses for several years. Deliveries to Oklo are slated to start in 2029, the companies said.
The letter of intent could include prepayments from Oklo to Centrus to support fuel supply for Oklo's planned campus buildout.
Oklo shares were up 3.7% in premarket activity, while Centrus rose 5.6%.
