Ouster (OUST) and AIM Intelligent Machines have formed an agreement to retrofit heavy machinery and vehicles into AI-powered fleets for use in mining, construction, and defense sites globally, the companies said Wednesday.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The agreement builds on a multi-year collaboration between the two companies to integrate Ouster's new Rev8 native color digital sensors into the AIM AI platform to advance the perception capabilities of automated machinery, including earth moving equipment, the companies said.
AIM's non-invasive autonomy hardware kits retrofit heavy machinery in under 24 hours, the companies said.
