AML3D (ASX:AL3) completed an initial order of around AU$4.5 million for the first two, custom, large-scale, ARCEMY X industrial metal 3D printing systems for Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of US-based military shipbuilder HII, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
A second order of around AU$9.9 million from Newport for four additional custom, large-scale, ARCEMY X systems is expected to be delivered in early 2027 from AML3D's US technology and manufacturing hub in Stow, Ohio.
Its shares rose 3% in recent trading on Friday.
