0803 GMT - A clearer shareholder return framework and portfolio recycling effort by Jardine Matheson are among factors that could reduce the discount its shares trade at due to its status as a holding company, says Elizabelle Pang, an analyst at DBS Group Research. Pang is generally upbeat on the Hong Kong-based conglomerate's clearer capital-allocation plans and conditions set for what qualifies as an attractive acquisition. She expects the company's next acquisition to only come in 2027, as is likely to focus on its Indonesian subsidiary Astra International's execution, the integration of an Australian diagnostic-imaging provider and boosting its senior leadership. DBS doesn't have a rating for Jardine Matheson but estimates fair value at $93.00. Shares are down 1.8% at $62.42. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
