No Forward Guidance, But Fed Signals Inflation Remains a Concern -- Market Talk

1644 ET - At the press conference during Kevin Warsh's first meeting as chairman he said the Fed needs to work on price stability and noted that officials view the labor market as steady. With Warsh stating, "We've got some work to do on the price stability point," Stephen Brown, Chief North America Economist at Capital Economics, said they continue to expect the Fed to raise interest rates this year. The Summary of Economic Projections also forecasted inflation remaining above the Fed's 2% target range through 2027. (jessica.coacci@wsj.com)
