Warsh Says June FOMC Meeting Had 'One Proposal On the Table' -- WSJ

When asked whether Fed officials talked about a rate cut at the meeting ended Wednesday, Warsh's answer was unambiguous: "There was one proposal on the table, there was no discussion of any other proposals."

"There was only one big subject for us," and officials had "a big family fight about it," according to Warsh, although he noted that officials were united after discussing it. The Fed decision to hold rates in the current range between 3.5% and 3.75% was unanimous.
