AstroNova has agreed to be purchased and taken private by the private equity firm Arcline Investment Management in a deal valued at $272 Million.

The data visualization and printing technology company said Wednesday that the deal calls for Arcline to pay $29 in cash for each of its shares. The stock closed the market on Tuesday at $16.69.

The transaction has already received unanimous approval from AstroNova's board and follows a company review of strategic alternatives.

The acquisition requires the approval of AstroNova shareholders and is expected to close in the third quarter.
