Amentum (AMTM) said Wednesday that it has been awarded a $77 million contract by the US General Services Administration to provide logistics and supply chain support services for the Pentagon and other federal agencies operating across Japan within the US Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility.

The 60-month firm-fixed-price contract requires Amentum to provide supply chain management services to support US military installations, the company said.

Amentum said it plans to use AI-powered tools for demand forecasting, planning, catalog management, and order fulfillment.

The program will also offer procurement, transportation, inventory management, and delivery services, the company said.
