French and Indian companies will invest 1.3 billion Pounds in UK clean energy and AI projects, creating more than 1,400 jobs across Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham, PA Media reported Tuesday, citing Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the G7 summit.
The investment includes 1 billion Pounds from French private equity firm InfraVia for battery storage, 300 million Pounds from Atri Energy Transition for large-scale battery storage, and 25 million Pounds from India's Hexaware Technologies, according to the report.
