SK Hynix (KRX:000660) denied a report by The Korea Economic Daily that claimed that the company offered a shareholder return program worth 100 trillion won, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korean Exchange.
CFO Kim Woo-hyun on Tuesday issued the clarification, which stated that the firm was currently reviewing several shareholder return measures to enhance shareholder value, but has not yet considered any specific plans.
Shares of the chipmaker rose over 1% in recent trade.
