American Resources Says Indiana Rare Earth Campus Expected to Start Commercial Operations of Germanium in Q3

American Resources (AREC) said Monday the rare earth and critical mineral refining campus being built in Marion, Indiana, of its affiliated minority holding, ReElement Technologies, is expected to start commercial operations of its initial germanium production line in Q3.

The facility's phase 1 buildout consists of four dedicated production lines with an expected annual capacity of over 16,000 metric tons of high-purity rare earth and critical mineral products once fully commissioned, according to a statement.
