Reinsurance Group Names Laura Cockrill Finance Chief as Axel Andre Departs

Reinsurance Group of America's chief financial officer, Axel Andre, is leaving the life and health reinsurer to pursue a new opportunity.

Reinsurance Group on Monday said Laura Cockrill, who had been executive vice president and chief strategy officer, succeeds Andre as chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Cockrill, 49 years old, has been with the Chesterfield, Mo., company since 2000.

Reinsurance Group said Andre, who joined as finance chief in June 2024, will depart on July 17.
