Eledon Says Mid-Stage Data Shows Tegoprubart Offers Higher Kidney Function, Improved Outcomes Compared with Tacrolimus

Eledon Pharmaceuticals (ELDN) said Monday that new long-term mid-stage data showed tegoprubart had sustained higher kidney function and improved patient-reported outcomes in kidney transplant patients than tacrolimus.

At 18 months, tegoprubart-treated patients maintained higher mean estimated glomerular filtration rate over time, the clnical-stage company said.

Eledon said no biopsy-proven acute rejection events occurred in tegoprubart-treated patients after the first six months of treatment, while seven events were reported in the tacrolimus arm after six months.

The company said it plans to begin late-stage development of tegoprubart late this year.

Shares of the company were up more than 2% in recent Monday premarket activity.
