Nvidia's (NVDA) Chinese supplier, Zhongji Innolight, will make a $700 million investment in Vietnam, Nikkei Asia reported Friday, citing a statement from the country's Bac Ninh province.

Zhongji Innolight will construct a 30-hectare manufacturing facility and employ up to 20,000 people, according to the report.

Zhongji did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires. The Bac Ninh province could not be contacted.
