Super Micro Computer (SMCI) and StorMagic said Wednesday they will collaborate to offer a bundled virtualized infrastructure package for edge, remote office-branch office, and small datacenter environments.
Supermicro's compact edge servers will be paired with StorMagic's SvHCI lightweight virtualization software to deliver a validated infrastructure system for industries including retail, manufacturing, and healthcare, the companies said.
The solution aims to simplify deployment and reduce infrastructure, power, and operational complexity while supporting high availability through a two-node architecture, the companies said.
