MT Newswires Live06-23

Apple (AAPL) and Tesla (TSLA), customers of Tata Electronics, had component design and specification documents included in data posted online following a cybersecurity incident at the Indian company, Reuters reported Monday, citing security researchers.

The ransomware group World Leaks has posted more than 200,000 files on the dark web, according to the report.

A source familiar with the matter said Apple was investigating the breach, while Tata had received a ransom demand related to the incident, the report added.

Apple and Tesla did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
