Nvidia (NVDA) said Monday that a record 35 Nvidia AI HPC supercomputers are currently in development across Europe, marking the continent's largest one-year expansion of supercomputers.
The systems aim to support research across climate science, healthcare, clean-energy decarbonization, quantum computing and fundamental science, the company said.
The Blackwell and Hopper platforms power the majority of Europe's AI factory buildout, with 800 AI exaflops deployed or announced since last year, Nvidia said.
In a separate statement, Nvidia said it launched Nvidia Halos for Robotics, which is what the company calls the industry's first full-stack, comprehensive safety system for robotics and physical AI.
Humanoid robot firm Agility is the first to use the system to incorporate safety into its humanoids, which work in factories, warehouses, and logistics operations, including for customers Amazon, GXO, Schaeffler and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, Nvidia said.
