Abbott Laboratories (ABT) and ALZpath have signed a global licensing deal to incorporate ALZpath's phosphorylated Tau 217 antibody into the development of an in vitro diagnostic test for Alzheimer's disease, ALZpath said Wednesday.
Financial details related to the agreement were not provided.
ALZpath said its pTau217 antibody provides a scalable alternative to PET imaging and cerebrospinal fluid analysis.
