Viavi Solutions Launches AI Network Validation Solution for Ultra Ethernet Fabrics

Viavi Solutions (VIAV) said Tuesday that it has launched its Ultra Ethernet Transport validation solution for AI fabrics, aimed at hyperscalers, cloud providers, and network equipment manufacturers deploying next-generation AI networks.

The company said the GPU-free solution, built on its TestCenter platform, is designed to validate AI back-end networks using the Ultra Ethernet Consortium's Ultra Ethernet Stack.

Viavi said the offering can emulate AI traffic patterns and workloads, including large language model and collective communication flows, while testing congestion control, packet delivery, dynamic multipathing, and load-balancing mechanisms.
