Shandong Gold Mining's (SHA:600547, HKG:1787) vice chairman, Liu Qin, resigned due to work adjustment, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Monday.
The Chinese gold miner's Shanghai shares slumped 7%, while Hong Kong shares dropped 4% during Tuesday's morning trade.
The company has yet to name a new vice chairman, but proposed Wang Chenglong to be elected as a candidate for non-independent director position.
