Singapore's Manufacturing Output Growth Slows in May

Singapore's manufacturing output increased 13% year on year in May, slowing from a revised 16.5% increase a month prior, according to data released by the Singapore Economic Development Board Friday.

The growth missed the Trading Economics consensus forecast of a 17% rise.

Manufacturing output fell 0.7% on a month-on-month basis, reversing the 6.2% expansion previously. It also missed the Trading Economics consensus forecast of a 2% growth.
