Evergrande Property Services Group (HKG:6666) on Thursday said that talks to sell the business collapsed, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing.

Liquidators of China Evergrande Group (HKG:3333), which owns 51.016% of the business, had been seeking to sell Evergrande Property's shares and had entered into confidentiality agreements for the purpose of a potential transaction with relevant parties.

However, those discussions had ceased, and no formal or legally binding agreement was entered into by the parties, Evergrande Property Services said.

Shares of the company fell almost 4% in Friday morning trade.
