Healthcare stocks were higher Wednesday afternoon, with the NYSE Healthcare Index and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) each adding 0.6%.
The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) climbed 2.5%.
In corporate news, InMode (INMD) board received an unsolicited acquisition proposal last week for all outstanding shares not already owned by M.N. Business Strategy for $16.20 per share in cash, the medical technology company said Wednesday. InMode shares jumped 12%.
