RailTel Corp. of India (NSE:RAILTEL, BOM:543265) has received a letter of acceptance worth about 298.4 million rupees from Southern Power Distribution Co. of Andhra Pradesh for the deployment of a software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) solution.
The contract covers supplying, installing, testing, configuring and training of SD-WAN devices along with supporting hardware, bandwidth licenses and cybersecurity systems, according to a stock exchange filing on Thursday. The order is scheduled for completion by June 2031.
Shares of the company fell nearly 1% in recent trade.
