Minieye Technology Gets Order for 500 Driverless Logistics Vehicles; Shares Rise 7%

Minieye Technology (HKG:2431) has secured a contract to supply 500 driverless logistics vehicles and related autonomous driving services to an independent enterprise in China's Henan province, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The vehicles will be deployed in smart logistics applications, including industrial parks, supermarkets, and last-mile delivery.

Shares of the firm were up over 7% in Thursday morning trade.
