Gilt Yields Fall as Investors Lower Expectations of BOE Rate Hike
Dow Jones06-26
0718 GMT - Yields on U.K. government bonds, or gilts, fall due to reduced expectations of the Bank of England raising interest rates. Declining oil prices have eased concerns about inflation and lowered the possibility of the BOE hiking interest rates in the coming months. Ten-year gilt yields fall 0.8 basis point to last trade at 4.695%, Tradeweb data show. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
