A Chinese unit of BeOne Medicines (SHA:688235, HKG:6160) will pay income tax of 446 million yuan, including late payment surcharges, after receiving a notice from a local tax authority.
The company agreed to modify previously filed tax returns as part of the move, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.
No administrative penalty is involved in this tax matter.
