1515 ET - Bumble's upcoming app relaunch is a fork in the road for the dating app company, and would likely dissuade potential buyers, Raymond James analysts say. Reuters reports that the company is exploring a sale process. Bumble seems to be taking an all-or-nothing approach with its relaunch, slated for later this year. Tinder has been launching new tests and features on a consistent basis, as both players look to buck a decline in the online dating industry, the analysts say. "This relaunch will determine the company's fortunes," the analysts say. "We find it hard for a buyer to have confidence in a brand that has lost some of its traditional cachet without confidence in a turnaround." (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
