Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) completed a winter drilling program at the Patterson Lake South uranium project in Canada and discovered a new body of high-grade uranium mineralization, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Key intercepts at the new Atlas discovery include one drill hole with 17.5 meters of composite uranium mineralization across three intervals, the largest being eight meters averaging 1.8% uranium.
A second drill hole returned 21.5 meters of composite uranium mineralization across two intervals, while a third showed 30 meters of mineralization across seven intervals, per the filing.
The Atlas discovery remains open along strike and at depth, the company said.
