Apple (AAPL) is losing its top hardware executive overseeing the Vision Pro headset and smart-glasses initiative to Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Paul Meade, a vice president who has led hardware engineering for Vision Pro for seven years, is set to leave Apple by next week and will join OpenAI's to work on its AI-powered devices, the report said.

Apple and OpenAI did not immediately respond to requests for comments from MT Newswires.
